The faculties of electrical engineering from the universities of Brasov, Timisoara and Cluj-Napoca are pleased to announce that the International Conference on Electrical and Electronic Equipment will meet May 24^th through 26^rd, 2012 at the "Cheile Gradistei" Complex in Moieciu, Brasov county, Romania.

This international conference is technically co-sponsored by IEEE Industry Applications Society, IEEE Power Electronics Society and IEEE Industrial Electronics Society.

As the 13^th OPTIM since 1978, this conference will provide a unique opportunity for engineers, resear¬chers and academicians to assemble in a beautiful surroundings of Brasov and exchange the latest infor¬ma¬tion on electrotechnics, power electronics, electrical machines and industrial drives, industrial automation and control, applied electronics, electrical engineering education and related subjects.

All papers presented will be published in the IEEE Xplore® online digital library and will be indexed in international databases (ISI Thomson, Scopus etc.)
