Registration fees (bank transfer taxes not included):

350 EUR for each participant (author or not author), includes attendance at all scientific programs, invitation to the welcome reception and the banquet, Proceedings in CD form, daily meals (4 days), transport by bus organized from and to the Bucharest International Airport, one trip from the list of the proposed ones.

IEEE members have to pay a reduced fee.

All submitted papers will be reviewed by members of the International Steering Committee and the corresponding author will be notified of acceptance or rejection. Accepted papers must be presented at the conference (an author could present maximum two (2) papers) and will be published in the conference Proceedings.

The best (graded by the reviewers' scores) 20% of papers presented (the session and date will be mentioned) at OPTIM '08, with the author's approval, will be sent by the organizers of OPTIM '08 and will considered for review for eventual publication in IEEE Trans. Vol. IA, PEL, IE, provided their content falls into the scope of these Journals. More details will be given on site at OPTIM '08. This is a result of continuing technical sponsorship from IEEE.

The Proceedings of OPTIM '08 will be included in the
IEEE Xplore database and indexed by INSPEC.

Papers from OPTIM '08. may also be considered, by author's initiative or by invitation, for final review and speedy publication in the new Internet-only international archival journal: "Journal of Electrical Engineering", please visit: "www.jee.ro".

OPTIM 2010 has registered for use of a new IEEE tool: IEEE PDF eXpress™

      

The new IEEE Xplore® Requirements for PDF will be enforced as of 2005. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specification for compatibility.

IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function).

Steps for submission:

1. Create your manuscript(s)
2. Proofread and check layout of manuscript (it is highly recommended that you do this BEFORE going to IEEE PDF eXpress.)
3. Create IEEE PDF eXpress account
4. Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking
5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to attain IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s). The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
6. Submit final, IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s) [per the conference’s instructions]. The deadline is 01 March 2010.

The paper id, which you will receive via e-mail upon submission of this form, along

with corresponding password will allow you to make future changes to the submission;

There is an e-mail based mechanism to recover forgotten username and/or password;

Make sure paper is completely blinded (i.e., no authors info);

Further Notes:

Each paper, included in final programme, must be presented by one of his authors;

Presentations can be done in two ways, respectively in dialog or poster sessions;

Single person can be presenting author only twice regardless the form (poster or oral presentation);

Till conference time you have to decide wich of the authors will be the presenting one

(let us know your decision);

The paper submitting periods will be closed as mentioned above.
